Notice of Temporary Road Closure

To support essential infrastructure work for the Lakeview Village project, Lakeshore Road East at Lakefront Promenade will be temporarily closed starting Monday, November 4, 2024. This closure will last 10 days and work will take place on a 24-hour basis to complete watermain pipe installation, after which the closure will shift eastward to Lakeshore Road East at Hydro Road (Jim Tovey Blvd.) for an additional 6 days.

Detour Route: A detour will be in effect south of Lakeshore Road via Rangeview Road. Advance warning and detour signs are in place to guide drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.

We understand this may cause inconvenience and sincerely appreciate your patience as this vital work is completed in the area. The Region of Peel and the City of Mississauga are working diligently with the project management team to ensure that this overdue and necessary work is completed within the time frame and minimizes inconvenience.
